AS THE NAME SHOWS, THE SCHOOL NOW IS UP, UP AND IT WILL BE MORE UP! YOU HAVE MADE IT UP!

ON THE PICTURES HERE ATTACHED, YOU WILL SEE ROOFED ROOMS. THOSE ARE CLASSROOMS ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT MIDLE SIDES OF THE WHOLE BLOCK.

THE CROSECTION SEEN WITH IRON BARS ARE THE SUSPENED SLABS ON THE TOP OF TWO FRONT CLASSROOMS ON TOP OF OTHER TWO. THIS WILL BE THE FIRS UPSTAIR CLASSROOMS IN THE WHOLE AREA OF ILULA!!

The High School Newsletter Mars

Dear IOP and GAIABARNA SUPPORTERS IN EDUCATIONAL RACE,

Thank you, for being with me this time again.

This time I have a few information to you.

The information on the High School IOP, TANZANIA.

One, The Master plan we were promised is already in our hands. We have received the plan where the High School will be situated. T

Secondly, the building permit is ready and on Monday (tomorrow) it will be taken.

IOP HIGH SCHOOL, POVERTY, IGNORANCE AND DISEASES WILL BE ERADICATED

Thank YOU for going on being with us in 2009. We have all kinds of acknowledgements to you partners in educational race. We are trying to walk and you make us run! That is the heart that misses in various places. The hearts that practically provide examples to the marginal communities in education.

40 % har ikke skoleplass!

Jeg bor på et senter for foreldreløse jenter, Ilula Orphans Center (IOC), i landsbyen Ilula regionen Iringa. 31 stykker, 31 sterke historier. Senteret åpnet for 2 år siden. Før dette bodde jentene hos slektninger, naboer og noen kom rett fra gata. Felista er 15 år og skulle egentlig ikke bodd her, det var søsteren hennes som hadde fått plass. Hun var yngre, mer sårbar og mindre selvstendig. De bodde hos en slektning.

Tanzania - tålmodighetens land

Kulturer er spennende, lærerikt og tiltider en grenseløs tålmodighets prøve. Her i Tanzania er relasjoner og respekt for de som er eldre enn deg og de som har en ”høyere” stilling enn deg viktig. Det begynner allerede med hilsningene.

Er det mer å bidra med og hva?

Jeg heter Mette Grøsland. I Norge jobber jeg som grafisk designer i Fovea og var med å startet GaiaBarna. For tiden har jeg permisjon fra jobben og har flyttet ned til Ilula i regionen Iringa i Tanzania. Her vil skolen som GaiaBarna støtter bygges.
